ResponderBorrarLast Summer my family and me went on holidays to Mar Chiquita, in the province of Buenos Aires My daughters were delighted at the idea of its wide beaches and fresh swims in the sea. We set off early in the morning with our car full of luggage.
As we wanted to arrive in Mar Chiquita as soon as we could, we had chosen a shortcut to get there quicker. Instead of taking highway N°2, we drove our small car along a quite uneven and dirt road. Bad decision. We were driving through isolated landscapes when we lost signal on our phones and the sat nav. The road got narrower, muddier and masher. Suddenly we were stuck in the mud and no matter how hard we pushed the car, it was impossible for us to remove it from the piles of silt. We were facing a huge problem. We phones 911 but nobody answered. My daughters were worried and thirsty. My husband and me were stressed and scared. I decided to walk back along the road and tried to find somebody who could help us. My husband stayed with the girls trying to take the car out from the small swamp it was in.
Fortunately I met a gaucho called Ramón with his horse, Toto. They walked with me back to the car and, with Toto’s strength and Ramon’s ropes, we could remove the car. The gaucho also gave us some water and biscuits for my daughters. We arrived in Mar Chiquita covered with mud after 20 hours. We just wanted a shower.

1. A TEACHER DAY
OLIVER'S DAY STARTED BADLY. HE WOKE UP FORM A SCARY DREAM, LOOKED AT HIS ALAMR CLOCK... AND JUMPED OUT OF BED IN HORROR. IT WAS QUARTER PAST EIGHT. THE ALARM CLOCK HADN'T GONE OFF. HE WAS GOING TO BE LATE FOR WORK!.
THE DAY BEFORE HE CUT HIMSELF SHAVING, THEN HE COULDN'T FIND HIS KEYS, BUT EVENTUALLY HE RUSHED FROM THE HOUSE AND RAN TO THE BUS STOP. HE FELT TERRIBLE. IT WAS ONLY HIS FIRST WEEK IN HIS NEW JOB AND AFTER HIS BOSS HAD CRITICISED HIM FOR WORKING SLOWLY. HE WANTED TO MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION.
OLIVER WAITED FOR TEN MINUTES FOR THE BUS BUT IT DIDN'T ARRIVE. FIRST TRYING TO STOP THREE TAXIS, HE JUMPED INTO THE FOURTH AND WENT TO THE STATION.
AS SOON AS HE'D BOUGHT HIS TICKET, HE JUMPED QUICKLY ON THE TRAIN.IT WAS NOW TEN TO NINE. WHILE HE WAS TRAVELLING INTO LONDON, OLIVER CALLED THE OFFICE BUT NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. WHEN HE GOT THERE, HE FOUND THE BUILDING WAS LOCKED. IN THE END HE REALISED WHY. IT WAS SATURDAY!.

WHAT: A SIMPLE BAD DAY IN A TEACHER'S LIFE

1) Last summer my family and me went on holidays to the Iguazu Falls. My brothers and I were very anxious about the experience. We arrived at eight o`clock in the morning, at a wonderful hotel in the middle of the jungle. It was amazing. I remembered the coaties walking around us asking for food, they were lovely. That day we were supposed to make a visit to the Argentine side so we prepared a bag full of food, drinks and a lot of water because we had to walk a lot. My mom prepared the basket and left it outside on the table while we finished preparing ourselves. We finished doing everything, we grabbed our things and went out.
ResponderBorrarIt was midday and we stopped for a while to have lunch, but something happened. We started looking for the sandwiches, cookies, bread and we couldn`t find anything because THE COATIES HAD STOLEN EVERYTHING FROM US!!!! We didn`t know what to do so we started looking for a place to buy something to eat. Finally, we found it and we bought some cookies. Now we laugh, but at that moment we wanted to cry.

My family and I went to Gualeguaychu. We left home at 5 a.m and we came back at 9 in the morning. The journey was comfortable and the children slept during it.
ResponderBorrarWe went to the camping which is near the city and stayed there during the weekend. When we got there, we started putting up our tent and when we finished, we walked along the place. Then, we took out the accesories from the tent and we realized that we had not brought the sleeping bags. We brought other things such as a refrigerator, a fishing pole, a lantern to illuminate, a mosquito repellent, food and drink for us.
In the end, we decided to rent a bungalow to spend the night for those two days. Despite that situation, we could enjoy our trip and spent that weekend as a family.
